Boulebar is the dream of that perfect evening in a park, somewhere in France. It's the dream of eternal summer, cold drinks and boule under the platanes. Of friendly rivalry and laughter. Of togetherness and a glass of Pastis.
Our journey
It all started in 1991 with a pétanque club called Grönbrallan — a group of friends who fell hard for the game and wanted to share the passion. We didn’t just play; we threw parties, gathered friends, and created memories that stretched far beyond the courts.
A pilgrimage to the village of Rians in Provence deepened our connection to the sport and culture. Back in Stockholm, we realised we needed a home — a place where pétanque and French flair could thrive, even in the chill of the Swedish winter. That’s how Boulebar was born —our very own “indoor French park".
